VILLA GALINI

A specimen of unique architecture and beauty, built at the highest point of Galani Hill, Villa Galini is the resort’s jewel and host of the elite.  Villa Galini was designed in the ’70s by the renowned architect Kapsampelis as the residence of Giannis Carra’s family. The design was based on the austere form of the monastic architecture of Mount Athos.

Following its construction, the Villa opened its gates to elite friends, such as Salvador Dali, Melina Merkouri, Konstantinos Karamanlis, Rudolf Nureyev, Francois Mitterrand, and Gina Bahauer, of whom the piano is, to this day, a jewel in the music Suite
