Croatia

A scenery of green landscapes, pine trees growing right on the seafront, quaint red-tiled rooftops and over 1,000 islands are all part of Croatia’s postcard perfection. The country has successfully established a brilliant harmony of nature and heritage, while simultaneously developing new facilities and venues to satisfy the growing demand for the destination.

It is rare to find a place where so many different and exhilarating landscapes are brought together in a relatively small area of space; the Mediterranean, the eastern slopes of the Alps and the Pannonian plains make up the country, also providing three different climate areas.

Sail over to one of the top ten islands in the world, Hvar Island, and walk along the picturesque paths with the sea on one side and the lavender fields on the other.

One of Croatia’s leading destination cities is a beautiful pearl of the Adriatic; Dubrovnik, located in Southern Dalmatia, only 20 km from the international airport, is an interesting combination of a heritage that is centuries old, with all the modern day facilities such as luxury boutique hotels, dining hot spots and night clubs.

Split is the second largest city in Croatia, right in the heart of the Dalmatian coast, featuring a large Old Town with fantastic marketplaces, and important world heritage sites such as Diocletian’s Palace, initially built as the Roman Emperor’s retirement palace.

Zagreb, Croatia’s capital, has the highest concentration of castles, great cuisine, and a cultural liveliness that all blend to create an unsurpassed experience.
