A peaceful, pristine beauty is apparent everywhere in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, but beneath the beautifully preserved heritage lies a modern and effective infrastructure. This makes the Baltic States an incredible environment for retreats, conferences and incentives.
The short summers are mild while the winters bring crisp weather conditions and magnificent snowfalls. The destinations offer something unique and special for every season, from dog sledding, kayaking and backstage tours of the opera, to hot air ballooning and military training in a former Soviet training facility!
The Baltic States offer excellent hotels at rates that are impressively affordable, compared to similar category properties in central or southern Europe.
Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, preserves an old town of over 350 hectares, and is often referred to as the sister of Prague. In the city, all the greatest architectural styles - Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque and Classic - meet to compliment the beauty of the city. Vilnius is a treasure of a town with cosy cafes and quiet, hidden courtyards to be discovered at every step. The city has the largest conference facilities within a hotel, able to cater for up to 3000 delegates.
Estonia is the northernmost of the three Baltic States and features numerous lakes, many of glacial origin. Along the country’s Baltic coast are more than 800 islands with numerous unspoiled beaches. There are direct flights to the capital of Tallinn from 23 countries in Europe, Asia and America.
Latvia’s largest city and capital is Riga, which is considered the world capital of the Art Nouveau architecture style, Jugendstil. It is a fashion hub of Northern Europe and further north, the Sigulda Olympic track is an excellent venue for bobsledding, luge, slalom, cross-country skiing, and skating. Thirty-five cities have direct flights with Riga.
